Glam Slam

Purple is my favorite color. I'll tell you why because it doesn't imply anything. Its just a great color, light or dark, for a good or bad mood. OPI's Serena Glam Slam series has done it again!
Grape. . .Set. . .Match is a deep purple with copper and gold under tones. This is truly grape and I feel like I need some bread, *tear falls*. ♥ it.
Servin' Up Sparkle plays off GSM like a fine wine. The Iridescent round and fine gilter pieces, in a clear base, add more shine and sparkle to an already great color.
Enjoy ♥

Red, Not My Favorite Color But. . .

For today's post I have an OPI goody I picked up at Ulta. I'm normally not a fan of red anything, but OPI isn't just anything. This combo was under $15 for two polishes and a cool bracelet. That's under 5 bucks a piece.
The trio includes polishes Big Apple Red and Lincoln Park After Dark (swatch to come).
Big Apple, is a red jelly. A jelly is a transparent color polish. Where as your creames and mattes are not.
OPI has done it again. Big Apple Red is a straight up red. No under tones of anything but red. ♥ it! I think I like it because of the jelly formula. A cream or a non-shimmer red would diffently still be in the store, lol.
Two coats for full opacity. Flowers were created with a dotting tool using white, yellow, and green, nail art polish. The bracelet reminds me of Ed Hardy gear. Heaven!
Happy Monday! Enjoy ♥

Walgreens Haul

Hey Peeps,
For today's post I hit up Walgreen's. I'm on vacation this week. So I spent a little more time there than I normally would. Not! I picked up two polishes. Sally Hansen, of course. @ $2.99 & $4.99. I also grabbed two eye shadows by Wet n' Wild @ $2.99 each. For a great Smokey Eye. Pics to come. And a bottle of Sally's Dry Kwik. Skip it. Does not work!
The Walgreen's make-up lady threw in a free pink make-up bag. Yay ;~) Heaven!

I Cheated! Pink Wednesday

Sometimes, I have my nails done at my favorite nail shop near my home. I chose two colors from their massive selection, both OPI. Then I added a third color I brought with me by Orly called Frolic.

OPI's Be A Dahlia Won't You
My nail guy, Mike, applied two coats of Dahlia. It's a shimmery ruby pink. Not hot pink not neon. Luv it. I have to get these two. Cheaply, lol.
And I Lily Love You on top. LUV IT!
I.L.L.Y. is an iridescent foil in a pink base.
Mike used one heavy coat. The foil wasn't to bad to work with and laid down nicely.

Nails On The Go

Wow, my collection is growing so I had to find other ways to store my polish. I found this cool ArtBin storage box that fit polish bottles perfectly.

 Dividers, nice. Heaven.
Hobby Lobby wanted $18.99 plus tax. And the store near me never got any back in stock. So, I took to Found it for $12.42. Hello! I spent $19 and change to order and get it to me. Take that Hobby ;-)

Glass Nail File

Get yourself a glass nail file. It is more gental on your natural nails than an emery board. No peeling or cracking. I got mine from the Dollar Store for guess what a $1. I love it. There are others out there but why pay more.

Pink Wednesday ( Gradient )

Happy Pink Wednesday!
For today I did a pink gradient. I used two pinks. One by Sally Hansen called Fuchsia Power and Sinful Colors Fusion Neon. I added a pink glitter polish by Bon Bons .98 cents.

SH's Fuchsia Power was two coats. A cream formula no shimmer. Good because like crackle I am nearly over shimmer. But that didn't stop me from adding a little here, today.

 Outside direct sun light.
I used a clean make up sponge that I cut into triangles. I brushed some Sinful onto the sponge and applied it on top of my two coats of Fuchsia Power. Topped it all with two coats of Orly Sec n' Dry top coat.

The Bon Bons was a pink glitter in a pink, more like a light plum color, jelly base. I used very little on the sponge.

Summertime Rainbow

For today's post I am using LA Colors. A Dollar Store find. This is a jelly formula in a plum grape color. Yum! At first I thought this was a fail, but I had a change of heart. I like the glitter "over kill". Turns out that it looks different in the light vs dark. Cool ;-)

You can see the glitter more in indirect light. I chose not to glitter the thumbs. Can we say "accent", lmbo.
 Pic heavy. . .

For the rainbow I used water based paint from Hobby Lobby. Applying one color at a time. Cleaning brush in water between colors. Dust with glitter. Top coat, twice.
GILTTER! ! ! ! Enjoy ;~)
